Father Kaiser was a truly kind and compassionate man. He was a humble saint among us, and like so many saints among us, he flew under the radar. What a sweet and holy man. He had the gift of hospitality. He was genuinely interested in all he met. We shared several meals with him - didn't have to be fancy or expensive… Smashburger would do as well as the Fort. It just simply didn't matter! What mattered was the conversation, the human exchange between a truly curious man, and the person he wanted to know. He never pulled rank… yeah, he was a Priest of God, but he was a regular guy too. He was a delight. We will miss him dearly. There is definitely something very different about the my world today, knowing he is no longer in it. However, there is also something different about heaven! I now have one more person who can intercede for me in times of trouble. Knowing Fr. Larry, he will if he can! Pray for us Fr. Kaiser, and we'll do the same for you until we meet again! Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

The memory I cherish most about this dear priest was how he loved and befriended even the most humble. And it wasn't a "show"; it was real. We used to go out to dinner with my elderly Mom and he had a way of teasing her and including her in conversation that made her feel special. She early loved him for that - as did my husband and I. What a gem of a man, and how dear he must be to our good God. I can just imagine how joyous his heavenly homecoming must have been! Pray for us, dear Fr. Larry; our hearts are hurting because we miss you so much.... Love, Deacon Richard and Mary

I was a classmate of Father Kaiser at Regis, and have always admired his dedication to the people he has served as a priest. He was a wonderful priest and will be fondly remembered by the many he has served over the years. Pat Gartland

I loved the way he spoke spanish to the congregation, even though the Mass was in english, if he thought there was an important point to be made, and parishoners didn't quite understand he'd clarify for them. What a kind and gentle soul.

Fr Kaiser will always be remembered fondly by our family. We loved him as our pastor in Montebello.

Such a wonderful man he was! He was our father at the St. Helens Catholic church in Ft. Morgan CO when i was a little girl! Just the other day around Christmas I was thinking about him and how I would always put the Christmas tree up for him at his house as a little girl me and my cousins, and how we would get so excited because he would always surprise us with pizza! Breaks my heart to hear this news! My deepest Condolences to his family!

I was an alter server with Father Larry at St Rose back in the 80's. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. Such a wonderful man, I can hear his voice and see his smile as I write this. May God be with your family during this time....the world has lost a gentle soul and Heaven has gained an angel.

From the day Father Kaiser concelebrated our wedding 36 years ago, he became a close family friend, celebrating our joys and sorrows as he attended many family functions with us. We will miss visiting his rock museum, insightful wisdom and caring heart. Most of all, we will miss his humorous anecdotes about the Guardian Angels goats. We will continue to hold the Kaiser family in our thoughts and prayers.

Father Lawrence Kaiser worked diligently, quietly and persistently in bringing the message of salvation through Jesus Christ. He sought the best for the parishioners at Guardian Angels Parish where I had the opportunity to meet him and to celebrate the Eucharist with him as a member of the congregation, as a lector and as an extraordinary minister.

This past week as I was shoveling snow before the 7:30 am Mass I remembered many a snow driven morning when he was clearing the walks in front of the church in anticipation of folks coming to Mass. Other mornings he took his daily exercise with a run before Mass and one could keep time by his return and his entrance into the church as he prepared to celebrate the Holy Mass.

He was a priest and he served his office well. I met his aunt Sister Verena Kaiser when my wife, Linda, and our younger daughter, Cassie, were visiting my aunt and great aunt at Sacred Heart Monastery in Yankton, SD. She asked me what kind of priest was Father Kaiser. My succinct answer then and now is that he was a good priest. Thanks be to God and May his Soul and all the Souls of the faithful departed rest in peace!

Today I was at a funeral mass for a friend of mine, Rudy Lopez, and heard that Fr. Kaiser had also passed away. It came as a shock and I feel saddened he is no longer with us. Fr. Kaiser traveled to New Mexico and to the Santuario de Chimayo where he celebrated a 50th Wedding Anniversary for Rudy and his wife eight years ago. I am sorry Fr. Kaiser is gone but I also know he is in a better place. May his soul rest in peace.
