Lorraine Greubel Obituary


GREUBEL, LORRAINE Lorraine Greubel of Denver was laid to rest with her Lord and Savior on January 15, 2007. She was born May 25, 1925 in Racine, Wisconsin. She moved to Denver in 1960 and worked as a Secretary for numerous businesses, spending the majority of her work years at Gates Rubber Co. She enjoyed singing, a variety of outdoor activities and traveling. She was happiest when she was surrounded by family and friends. She is survived by her husband Bob, whom she married in 1946; 3 children, Bob Greubel of Glendale, CA; Chris Anderson of Greeley, CO; Scott Greubel of Denver; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. A closed casket visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, January 25 at Newcomer Family Funeral Home-West Metro Chapel. Private Interment will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made in Lorraine's memory to Porter Hospice, 1391 Speer Blvd., Suite 600, Denver, CO 80204.
