Tom Robinson Obituary

June 25, 2018 Dr. Tom W. Robinson passed away peacefully on June 25, 2018 at the age of 91. In the mid-fifties Dr. Robinson partnered with Dr. Hugh Plumb to start the Harbor Pediatric Medical Group in Newport Beach. Dr Tom' enjoyed caring for many generations of children at the Neutra designed Mariners Medical Arts building on Westcliff Drive.He loved practicing medicine and felt that every child deserved a chance to be their best. As a fellow of the American Academy of Cerebral Palsy, he volunteered many hours each week to the Child Guidance Clinic and the United Cerebral Palsy Clinic.His passion for sailing and skiing was surpassed only by his love for his family. He and his beloved wife Ernestine 'Butchie', enjoyed many wonderful adventures during their 59 years of marriage. He is survived by his sons Michael and Mark, his daughters Louise and Lisa and his four grandchildren. Those who wish to give something in remembrance are encouraged to donate to United Cerebral Palsy of Orange County. Www.ucpoc.org

My condolences go out to the family of Dr. Robinson. My children were his patients from 1972 until about 1990 and we loved him dearly. He had been recommended by my original pediatrician in Pasadena prior to our move to Orange County in 72. He was such a caring man! RIP Dr. Tom.
