Brosseau, Marc Rene
January 22, 1952 - April 29, 2021

Marc Rene Brosseau, 69, died peacefully on April 29, with his wife and son by his side. He was highly respected, admired and well-liked by all who knew him.

Marc grew up in Downey, California, and graduated from Stanford University, he earned his law degree from the University of Colorado School of Law, Marc joined Weller Friedrich, in 1976, and was with Brosseau Bartlett Lieberman, LLC, until his sudden death, from very aggressive, advanced lung cancer. Marc was a national litigation attorney, and tried cases throughout the United States, to say Marc loved what he did, is an understatement, his work ethic was impeccable as he prepared for cases with passion and zest.
Marc also taught as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Colorado School of Law.

Nothing brought more joy to Marc than his family and traveling with his wife and son. Marc was unconditionally loving and supportive, to all, and took time for family and friends. He leaves a legacy of integrity, fairness and wisdom. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

Marc is survived by his wife Stacey Brosseau, son Royce Brosseau (fiancee Catherine Matous) his brother Paul Brosseau (Karen), and several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

Marc and I went all through high school and college together. In high school we were debate partners and usually in the same honors classes. We were golfing buddies and drinking buddies. I could write a book on "Marc Brosseau--The Early Years". Marc developed into one of the most capable, dedicated attorneys I ever met in my legal career. It was so wonderful that he met Stacey and had the chance to have a family he adored. To Stacey, Royce and your extended family, Kathy and I send our condolences and deepest sympathy. Marc was taken from you/us way to soon.

In the short time my wife and I got to know Marc and Stacey, we hit it off and became friends. Marc and I swapped attorney stories and we all talked about our families. We will miss Marc very much as I know all who he knew will too. Our condolences go out to Stacey and their son.

Marc was a "lawyer's lawyer ". A master at his craft. He adored his wife Stacey and son Royce, and his sudden death creates a significant void in their lives and hearts. Please accept our condolences.
