Mom

Marisa,

This is the last day I can write to you here.

Just in case you missed it, Luressa did REALLY well in school this year. She was advanced in all her subjects. She earned a scholarship for Scottish dancing and is taking lessons throughout the summer. She sure loves it.

Marcelino is getting cuter by the day and he talks to you and about you alot. He is now in the same summer program as Luressa and he is having a blast!

I'm not doing as well as them. I do all the things I'm supposed to do for them and myself, but I'm just going through the motions of living.

When you were here, I never realized that you were the light of my life. I was too busy bugging you about all the things YOU should be doing with YOUR life.

Now I feel that God knew he was going to call you, so he let you stay home with your kids that last year. You didn't have to go to school or to work, you were able to just be Mom. Now they have such wonderful memories of the time you spent with them and they share those memories with me each day.

Even though the kids bring me such joy, my heart still aches for you, my beautiful girl.

I imagine that you were able to find your grandma and grandpa and that it was a glorious reunion.

I love you with all my heart. I promise I will do the best I can to raise your babies the way you would have. When I kiss the kids, I make sure to give them a kiss for you too.

I miss you every moment of my life. If I don't cry every day for you, it's because I've run out of tears.

Forever,

Deborah Chavez

Marisa, Marisa

How much you are missed! Please know how much we (Adrian, Dawnita and your Uncle Art and me) still love you and miss you.
I don't know what you can see up there, but know that Luressa is truly a gifted beautiful little girl and your son Marcelino is truly a beautifully spirited boy. We HUG them and tell them they're LOVED as often as they can stand it!

Just in case you forgot, when you were born, the (dr's) we're busy with your mom and so the nurses gave you to me (I happened to be in the room) to take to the nursery. So, since that day you got stuck with me as your aunt and your nina.

Yesterday has been a year since you've been gone and I wish for you to have peace and love and that the Lord wraps you in his arms as I wrapped you in mine in those first minutes you were born.

I hope somehow our prayers reach you so you know you're not alone.

Your mom misses you so so much! I can't really describe what it's like for her, only you can hear her now.

Marisa, Marisa
We all miss you so much!
My prayers and love are always with you.
Your Nina

Marisa,

My baby girl, how I miss you. It's been nearly a year now, and the pain is the same as it was on that dreadful day. I know that you have found the peace you longed for and we can share that when I join you someday. Your babies are my salvation. We talk about you alot because I don't want them to forget their beautiful mom. I love you.

I went to high school with Marisa. We didn't know eachother well but when I heard the news my heart broke for her, her family and especially her kids. I am truly sorry for your loss and her family is in my prayers.
No, Father or Mother should ever have to witness the passing of their child or children before they are called home to glory. Yet, when it happens just hold on to the precious moments you shared with your loved one, for no one knows your pain, No, Not One!...But God, Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Sincerely,
Chantel E.
