Huber, Mary Joan
12/12/1929 - 09/08/2021

We were all created to be with God and on September 8, Mary Joan Huber, went home to be with our Heavenly Father. She was 91.
Mary, who was born in Akron, OH, graduated from Mount St Joseph University, where she later served on their Board, and then Good Samaritan School of Nursing in 1952 in Cincinnati, where she lived until retiring and then moving to Denver. She had the opportunity to travel the world and touched many people's lives through her career in the nursing profession. Later in her career, she began teaching nursing at Good Samaritan Hospital and then teaching nursing obstetrics and geriatrics at the University of Cincinnati. Our mother had a "nurses' heart"… a deep compassion for the sick, injured, and especially… new born children. She was one of the most generous people, and she enjoyed to cook for those around her; she had quite a collection of cookbooks. She led a full life and had three children along with six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. All these she loved and touched deeply. We love you Mom.
In lieu of flowers, please make a Memorial Contribution to the Huber Museum - P.O. Box 6010 Marion, Ohio 43301-6010.
