Meredith Clark Obituary

Meredith Joan Clark of Cherry Hills Village, Colorado passed away on December 23, 2015 after a suspected seizure. She was 8 years old and left her loved ones far too early. Meredith attended The Rise School of Denver and then Cherry Hills Village Elementary School. The light Meredith brought to those who knew her is indescribable. She was true and unfiltered love with a brilliant smile and twinkling blue eyes. She brought out the best in everyone who knew her. Her amazing spirit will continue to inspire all. In the end she gave the ultimate gift as an organ donor, the gift of life. Meredith is survived by her parents Craig and Abigail Clark, her twin sister Caroline, her younger brothers William and Wesley. Meredith is also survived by her grandparents John and Marilyn Clark of Greenwood Village, Colorado, her grandparents Dennis and Joan Schroeder of Centennial, Colorado, and her aunt and uncle Timothy and Sara Schroeder of Columbus, Ohio, and her cousin Stella of Columbus, Ohio. There will be a viewing from 3-5pm on December 29th at the Apollo Three Trees Chapel, 13416 W. Arbor Place, Littleton, Colorado 80127. A funeral will be held at The Rock of Southwest Church, 10393 W. Alamo Place, Littleton, Colorado 80127 at 1pm on December 30th. A reception will be held at Glenmoor Country Club, 110 Glenmoor Drive, Cherry Hills Village, Colorado 80113 from 3-6pm on December 30th. Anyone who loved Meredith is welcome to attend these events. This will be followed by a private interment at Fort Logan National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers or other tokens of support, charitable contributions can be made to The Rise School of Denver in Meredith's name (www.risedenver.org). Our family owes so much to the amazing teachers, therapists, and friends that she had at The Rise School of Denver and Cherry Hills Village Elementary. Full Obituary at ApolloFunerals.com

Dear Clark Family,
I would not normally send online condolences however a work emergency has kept me at the office and unable to personally deliver my card to you.
I remember meeting Meredith for the first time at your 1st Strides 5 K Walk/Run. Her sweet smile and beautiful eyes stood out to me in the crowd that day. She was such a joy. I have always been impressed by your family and your special team page, Miles for Meredith which enabled us to get to know you all. Sharing your story on the team page has always been an awesome tribute to such a wonderful child who will continue to shine on in our hearts the incredible ray of sunshine she was.
My husband Warren and I send our deepest condolences. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Respectfully,
Sue Wolf (Strides for Epilepsy 5K Committee Volunteer)
