Patrick Maley Obituary
Pat, 73, died on March 2, 2022, from Parkinson's Disease. He is survived by his spouse, Candace, two sons, Daniel Patrick and Sean Matthew (Kristen), and three grandsons, Barry, Cullen, and James. Pat grew up in Berea, Ohio, with six siblings, Kathy, Dan, Jim, Mary, Eddie, and Kevin, who loved him dearly. He was an enthusiastic athlete and an avid golfer. Pat attended Berea High School. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in Sales and Marketing from Baldwin-Wallace College. Pat had various jobs before joining Hansen Manufacturing in Cleveland in 1974 as sales manager. In 1984, the family moved to Littleton, Colorado, where Pat was hired as sales manager at Norgren Manufacturing. He concluded his career at Norgren as president of their Sales and Marketing Division. Pat loved people, and it was mutual. With his Irish charm and his genuine care for people, he made everyone he met feel special. His pure tenor voice delighted many over the years. He was a skilled photographer, an artistic endeavor that brought him great joy. A private memorial service will be held in May 2022. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Parkinson Association of the Rockies or The Denver Hospice in Pat's name.

I knew Pat from working at Norgren, but got to know him better after we retired. He was always upbeat and positive. Someone to look up to for his courage over the past years.
We were both from the Cleveland area, and actually went to rival high schools across town from each other.
We were both huge Ohio State Buckeye fans too! He lived down the street from the Tressels. Jim was the head coach at Ohio State at one time.
Always a classy guy, he will be missed.

What a wonderful neighbor we had while growing up alongside Patrick in Berea, Ohio. My father saw a promising young man and hired him to work at Hansen. Patrick remained a lifelong friend to the Mathis family. Through his struggles, Patrick and Candace were an inspiration to all of us. Patrick, Candace, Dan and Sean will remain in our hearts forever. Since I learned of Pat´s death a few days ago, I have thought of little else. To say Pat had an impact on my life is an understatement - we shared the disease of Parkinson´s as well as the love of golf. Many of you know that their was an annual golf tournament put on by CNI and more recently, PAR, as a fundraiser for this disease of which there is still no cure, in Pat´s honor. For years, those of us involved with this, we were able to witness a love affair of Pat and his friends. They came from far and wide to show their love and support. In return, Pat maintained his sense of humor and courage. As a representative of the PD community, I watched and learned from the best - keep laughing!!
To Candace, Dan and Sean, we share your sadness at losing this special, special man along with the relief he is not trapped in that body that no longer worked. Pat, you will never be forgotten.

A truly wonderful and gentle soul. I have so many wonderful memories of Pat that I will cherish forever. I will always think of him when I hear the song ‘oh Danny boy’ and his beautiful voice, singing to my family in the basement of their family home when we first visited the USA.
