Maj. Pauline V. Chandler, (Ret), passed away peacefully on 9/22/13. Funeral Ft. Logan 2pm, 10/4/13. Reception to follow at the VFW Post 5061.

We miss you and your generous, fun loving spirit. Your two last kitties from the April Fool´s Day litter, Tony and Millie, joined you recently. We sure miss them too. Your memories help keep us strong. We love you all.

I just heard about Pauline's death over the holidays and was sad to hear of her death. I am also a retired Army Nurse and served with Pauline in Germany from about 1985-1988 or so. We have been corresponding ever since. She always loved her cats and when I visited there many years ago I had fun petting her cats at that time. So sad about her circumstances and whished I had know about them sooner.

We are blessed to have become friends with Pauline Chandler because she was a friendly and generous neighbor to our daughter,Juliet Piccone. Pauline even gave us an adorable kitten from a litter of cats born to a stray mamma cat she took inside. That kitten is now a handsome 10yr.old cat who brings us joy each day. . Pauline adored Rockies baseball and ushered for them. She never missed sending us cute greeting cards for each birthday and holiday. We miss her!
