Thank you all so much for sharing your kind thoughts and memories of Richard. He was such a sweet and loving person and we all miss him so much. He was a wonderful husband, father, and brother. He never complained during his long illness, and kept his sense of humor to the end. I know that now he has joy and peace as he celebrates with Jesus. from his sister, Betty

A friend from highschool called to say that she had seen the obituary for Rich. I would have gone to the funeral with her but we had out of town company for the weekend. I was so sad to hear of his death and as a Hospice Nurse I understand the dreadful glioblastoma. How awful this must have been for him and for you, the family. Rich and I dated in highschool and I have always had warm , funny, and sweet memories of those years. He was such a gentle, kind, and funny fellow. I am so sorry that he had to go through this kind of illness and for his family to have suffered with him. My prayers are with all of you.

This issuch a shock to me. Dick Fenton was one of my closest friends in grade school at St Vincent's. He was such a soft spoken, funny, easy to be with guy. We continued to be in contact when he went to St Francis and I went to Mullen, then we lost track of each other. I am so sorry I never got to see and talk to him before this happened.I will make an effort to let his friends know and when the funeral is at Risen Christ.
