To the family of Bob Knuth-I worked with Bob at the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office. He was always happy and had a way of making us dispatchers laugh. He always had a smile on his face and always stopped in at dispatch to let us know what a great job we were doing. We had nicknames for him and his co-pilot Chris Franz we called them "Bert and Ernie". I am sorry for your loss and wanted you all to know what a blessing he was for us all at JCSO.

Carol and family, I worked with Bob in Patrol and he was a great supervisor and a very safe pilot. He had a great sense of humor. May God's healing hand cover your family at this time and place peace in your hearts.

To the Knuth Family,
I worked with Bob at the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office through the years that he worked there. It was a pleasure to work with Bob. His sense of humor and his dedication and professionalism to law enforcement was always present. He was well respected by all that worked with him. He was the safest and best helicopter pilot ever to fly for the sheriff's office.

Dad, I ran out of time to say all of the things I should have said to you. You are my idol I looked up to you for how you lived your life and how you treated people. I am sorry for all of the pain and dissapointment I may have caused you. You always told me to slow down and to take time with friends and family. I took for granite that you would always be there for me. I am sorry I did not spend as much time with you as I should have. I hope I can take the lessons that you tought me and Pass them on to my boys. You were the man I can only hope to become someday. You will be missed by many but forgotten by few. Dad we love you.

Carol and family, We were very sad to hear about Bob' passing, he was way too young! I worked with Bob for many years at the Sheriff's Office both on Patrol and Aviation when I served as the Observer. He was a great helicopter pilot and those missions are some of my best memories at the Sheriff's Office. My wife has been on several "scenic" helicopter rides but still comments that none compare to the ride Bob gave her when we had our "family day" many years ago. Our deepest condolences.

Bob was a sincerely good man who will be greatly missed. He was a proud and loving husband and father who always spoke highly of his family. He was more than a boss or a supervisor, he truly made me feel like a friend. I worked with him for many years and cherished those moments that we could spend together flying. He and Carol made these some of the best years in my career and I will never forget him.
