REIFSNEIDER, RUTH Josephine Ruth Reifsneider 87, passed away on April 18, 2010. Born in Englewood, CO on March 28, 1923, to parents Josephine Daniel Hayes of Dublin, Ireland and Robert E. Hayes of Chicago, Illinois. Ruth graduated from Englewood High School in 1941and later from Denver University where she was a member of Theta Phi Alpha sorority. Ruth married Henry G. Reifsneider (Bud) in 1946. She helped her husband build the Moon Valley Lodge in Keystone and enventually moved back to Littleton where Bud Co-Owned the Home Lumber Co. She enjoyed traveling to Matzatlan, Mexico and was fluent in Spanish. Her hobbies included playing golf and taking care of her donkeys. She was preceded in death by both her parents, her of husband of 58 years, Henry (Bud) Reifsneider and her brother Dr. Robert Hayes. Survivors include her daughter Colleen Denny of Colo. Springs, and two sons Guy Reifsneider of Littleton, & Patrick Reifsneider of Denver, 7 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. Graveside Service at Mt. Olivet Cemetery 1pm Friday 4/30/10. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to www.longhopes.org.

One of Ruth's many endearing traits was her voice and her laugh (somewhere between a chuckle and a giggle). She was very unique in that respect because her sense of humor was very good and her laughter just made the story so much better. Maureen
