I cannot say how sad I was to learn of Susan's passing. She was a consumate professional and a friend. She will be missed by all those who knew her silly and serious sides. My condolences, Laura Fiemann.

It is with great shock and sadness that I found out about Susan this morning. I will miss conversations with her and will remember fondly the times we had together.

To Susan's Family:
I could not hold back the tears when I heard about Susan's unexpected passing. My heart is filled with sorrow, and it is a deep and genuine sorrow. Susan was a beautiful woman who personified, in both her personal and professional lives, the highest standards, complete integrity and, with her own charm and wit, a boundless energy and enthusiasm for whatever task she took in hand. Moreover, no one who ever had the privilege of knowing her is likely to forget her candor! (That's one of my most loved traits about her.) I will be missing her all the rest of my days. Please accept for yourself, and all who mourn with you, my family's deepest and heartfelt sympathies. May God bless you and comfort you in the days that lie ahead.
