I met and worked for Tom 54 years ago. Tom exemplified everything that was good and right. As I took flight and moved through he ranks of leadership I kept turning back to the thought, what would Tom do. Tom was a model that I heard near and dear to my heart. He had a heart of gold and a mind of a inventor. Above all, Tom was totally commit to his family. Godspeed my friend, our conversation will need to wait a bit longer.

My dear Colburn family,
I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved husband, dad, grandpa, great grandpa, uncle and brother--Mr. Colburn.
Although I never really got to know him, I can assure you that he leaves behind a great legacy in YOU--his family! May the special memories of the wonderful life that he lived always be just a thought away, and may the love he shared be forever engraved on your hearts.
Please know that you are in the thoughts and prayers of many, and may their loving compassion bring strength and support during this time. May the Lord bless you all with His perfect peace.
Dear Lord, grant eternal rest to Mr. Colburn and cradle him in Your heavenly arms.
With much love, Mary Jane
