It's been 13 years since Tom passed. I remember it was a Sunday, and Tom was going out to breakfast at McDonald's when he had a seizure, pulled over into a church parking lot, and passed. Barb, God Bless you, this has not been easy these last 13 years. I was just glad that I got the opportunity to work on your house, there is still much more that I need to do over there. Although, this website lists his date of death as July 21st, I believe it was July 20th, because that day was a Sunday. Tom was a good friend at RTD, where we both worked. I just wish that Tom was still here so that we could all enjoy his company, his wit, and his charm. By the way, Tom was an Engineering genius with patents. He could visualize and design anything. The world is much less without him. We love you Tom (and Barb) and we will never forget.

To all the Lorenzi Family,
My prayers continue to be with you all. Tom was always such a gentle, happy and pleasant person to be around. I always remember thinking how cool Tom was to have his own kiln, in the barn no less. You are all like family to me and I love you all so much. My life and the life of all you touch, make this world a better place. Although the Garden of Eden may have gotten a little emptier, you should be comforted knowing that God only picks the best for His Celestial Garden. Fondly, Suzy

I am so sorry to hear about Tom. The Lorenzi's were such a wonderful part of my life as a child; it was so awful when all of you moved to Eden - Leonard St was never the same. My thoughts are with all of you.

It's a sad day for Leonard St. in Lackawanna, NY. It's been more than 50 years since the Lorenzi Family played with the Janicki girls and the Georges. To this day we will sit in my mom's kitchen and wonder how the Lorenzi's are doing. Please accept my sympathy on your loss.

Tom and I work together at ABS Consultants, we bonded as friends and I will always have memories of him. We spend many working weekends and lunches together and he was patient in listening to me. A quality I shall never forget. My life changed and we went separate ways, but that bond and memories remain solid! God Bless Barb and all the Lorenzi family.

I felt I was only just beginning to know Tom, and was excited at all there was to know (his incredible pottery, remodeling projects, our shared love of Mexico, just the tip of the iceburg, obviously...). His was clearly a life to celebrate! Barb ~ I'm here for you, by phone, for coffee, lunch, dinner, anytime. OXO

Dear Peter and family,
I was so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. I was back in Eden recently and had dug out all the old yearbooks out of my Mom's closet. I came across a picture of Tom and had remarked to my Mom what a handsome, nice guy he was. I am so sorry for your loss. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

My deepest sympathies to all of Tom's family and friends, you have lost one of the best people I have ever known. When I arrived at college forty years ago I was blessed to have Tom as a room mate. He was full of creative ideas, enthusiasm, and always good natured. But most of all his sincerety and pure spirit stood out. As two of my children head off to college this fall my greatest hope is that they can be as lucky as I was in spending four years with a friend like Tom Lorenzi.

Tom,
Sadly as I write this, I think back about the times we shared doing our respective remodeling "adventures". We were both fixing up our houses and had the pictures (and scars) to prove it. You will be missed not only for your affable nature but your inventive genius. Only Nikola Tesla and Thomas Alva Edison could be missed more. Barb, our prayers go out to you and may God comfort you at this trying time.

"Tomba" - A great friend and confidant! I always looked forward to our playful talks and brain-storming sessions. I wish we could have worked in another Playa adventure - our first was truly "the best of times".
Your sincere and gentle nature will be missed for a long time to come.
