Mr. Hindon,
Sir, I didn't know you, but I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army Air Forces during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Bill Hindon was a remarkable person whom I loved dearly. He was a leader and great presence in our family, and will be greatly missed.
As his eldest niece, I have many wonderful memories of Bill from the time he was 21, when he gave us rides in the "rumble seat" of his sports car, to this past summer when he was able to joke about his cooking skills. No one could tell a story as well as Bill, and his infectious sense of humor is legendary.
Although I admired him immensely for his formidable business acumen and accomplishments, he had many personal qualities that served as a positive example to me; his courage and determiniation during his and Jean's declining health, his compassionate care of Jean's mother and aunt, and his ability to relax and enjoy life, especially in his yard.
Matt joins me in extending our deepest sympathy to Bill, Nora and family during this difficult time.
