William McMechen Obituary

William (Bill) Meade McMechen, Jr., passed away peacefully, joining Christ on December 11, 2017. Bill was born October 1927 in Denver to William and Mary Katherine McMechen. He was a graduate of North High School and then, following a short stint in the U.S. Marines, attended the University of Colorado where he earned his degree in Civil and Structural Engineering. Bill is survived by his wife of 63 years, Alice, and was the loving father of three children, William (Denver), Renee (Centennial), and Angus (Castle Rock). Bill has one granddaughter, Audrey (Atlanta). He is preceded in death by his brother, Edgar (Bud), Bill also has two sisters Phyllis (Denver) and Mary Kay (Tucson). A graveside service will be held on Friday, Dec 15, 9:30 am at Littleton Cemetery, 6155 South Prince Street, Littleton, Colorado, 80120. In lieu of flowers, the family recommends a donation to the Alzheimer's Association at alz.org. For full obituary, visit HoranCares.com.
