Alma Hatcher Obituary

Alma Maria BoscoHatcher Gone Fishing With Pa 1912 ~ 2004  Alma Bosco Hatcher, age 91, left to go fishing with Pa, January 23, 2004. Alma passed away due to complications incident to Alzheimer's. Alma was born May 31, 1912, in Marble, Colorado to Joseph and Catherine Bosco. She was raised in Pueblo, Colorado. She married Lloyd Douglas Hatcher July 3, 1929, in Huerfano Co., Colorado. They had two beautiful daughters, Charmaine, who married Gaylen Dahl, and Jean-nine, who married John G. Walter. Alma was a homemaker and a partner with her husband in their sign business in Salt Lake City, Utah; Alta Sign Company. She was a great cook, raised beautiful flowers and on the weekends she loved to go fishing with her husband and her family to Trial Lake in the Uintah Mountains. She was well known for her wonderful Ravioli and other great dishes she made for all of her family. She was very much loved by her family. Family survivors include a daughter, Jeannine Catherine Walter, Salt Lake City, Utah; three sisters, Mary Borrel-li, Eunice Dionese, and Louise Rector, all of Colorado; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and four great great-grandchildren.  Alma was preceded in death by her father, mother, three sisters, three brothers, husband, daughter, and a great-granddaughter. The family especially wishes to send their heartfelt appreciation to the staff and caregivers at the Special Care Unit at St. Joseph Villa in Salt Lake City. Graveside services will be held at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. 10600 S., at 2 p.m. Monday, January 26th. Family will greet friends at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary one hour before burial. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Christus Saint Joseph Villa, 451 Bishop Federal Lane, SLC, Utah, 84115 Attn: Special Care Unit. Hope the fish are biting, Ma and Pa!
