I was shocked and saddened to see Amy's obituary this morning. I grew up with Amy's family and remember babysitting Amy on occasion. I loved Amy and her family and have thought of them often through the years. I was thrilled to read that Amy became an elementary school teacher. What a wonderful service and profession! Best wishes to the Fowles clan. My thoughts and prayers are with you!

Ms. Fowles was one of my beloved teachers that I had when I attended Hill View Elementary school. She was my science & technology teacher 10 years ago. She even kept up with me after I graduated from High School. What an unfortunate thing to happen. She counseled me, even at a young age as a great educator. I attended Mill Hollow with her 3 years in a row, and loved every time. I had recently been thinking about her (as I am currently living in Poland) and was wondering what she was up to. I guess we get these kinds of impressions to let us know something would be changing. I will miss her, and will regret not being able to see her again in this life.

Miss Fowles was an amazing teacher. She taught my son this year at Spring Lane and he misses her so very much. And so will I. She always had a smile on her face and a positive attitude.
