Flowell, UT-Carma Ann Crosland Swallow, 71 of Flowell, Utah passed away April 2, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Carma was born July 13, 1946 in Fillmore, Utah to Douglas S. and Beth Nixon Crosland.
She loved her kids, her grandkids, serving in the church, attending the temple, researching family history, playing the piano and teaching piano lessons. She served a mission at the Family History Center at Temple Square. She enjoyed and loved the other missionaries she worked with. She loved serving others and was always preparing meals and taking food to families. She loved to quilt and always had a quilt for her children and grandchildren. She loved to go to the temple. She loved living on the farm and was always willing to help including bailing hay, driving truck, moving sprinklers, bookkeeping and feeding the helpers! She also had three Eagle Scouts.
Carma is survived by two brothers Brent (Vicki) Crosland, Fillmore UT; Blaine (Jan) Crosland, Kemmerer WY, her children, LaDell Swallow, Flowell, UT; Morrell Swallow, West Jordan, UT; Kelby (MaryAnn) Swallow, Flowell, UT and Tilden (Kelly) Swallow, Kanosh, UT. Also loved by thirteen grandkids and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Connie Bowman.
Funeral services will be held Saturday April 7, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Flowell LDS Chapel. Friends and family may attend a viewing Friday April 6, 2018 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. prior to services both at the Flowell LDS Church. Carma was the best! One of the most loving and patient people I have ever known. She was like a 2nd Mom to me. She was also a pillar of our community in Flowell and all of East Millard County. She taught countless kids to play piano and everyone wanted her to play organ and piano whenever they sang. Carma you touched countless lives when you were with us. I miss you and can't wait to see you on the other side.

We met Carma when we served a mission at the Family History Library. She was our trainer. She was so patient and understanding. We loved spending time with her. She was a joy to be with. She enriched our lives at the Library and the few times we saw her after that. What an angel!
