Don't know if you remember me, Kathy Perry. We were pretty good friends in junior high and high school. I saw your Dad's obituary and wanted to offer my condolences. It is very hard to lose a parent. I lost my Mom in 1990 and my Dad in 1991. Just know that I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. May your Dad rest in peace.

Dear Bruce, Marion & Family: I was so saddened to hear of Kay's passing. I know he has had some health problems of late, but it is always difficult to loose a loved one. Some of my fondest memories of our South High Days was playing basketball together and seeing Keith Oborn, my Dad (Bill McDermott) and Kay in the stands together and hearing them yell at us and to cheer us on. I remember him from our Cops League days as well coming to watch us play some baseball in the Summer days of long ago. Great memories to cherish. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. God bless you all. With love and condolences from one of your "McDermott" cousins.

We're so sad to hear of Kay's passing, We will always remember him at Christmas and in uniform, he was much respected in the police department and will be missed by many.
