To the Jarman Family: My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.

I had the pleasure, and honor, to work in Mr. Jarman's organization at APS for many years, including a few where I reported directly to him. Chuck was an excellent leader, and, more importantly, an excellent human being. He inspired me, and helped me immensly in my career, and as a person. He gave me great advice when I first became a father, and for many years afterwords. I never met anyone better during my 37 year career. I am sorry for your loss, but I know he is happy.

Bishop Jarman you will be missed I never got to say thank you for always being kind and loving towards me when I was struggling to get along with the other young men in the 35th ward. Rest in peace

One of the great influences in my life. I can trace many great memories and accomplishments in my youth to Bishop Jarman. I can still remember sitting at his kitchen table going over the paperwork to finalize my Eagle project. I am sure it was painstaking but I always felt he saw more in me than I saw in myself. Sometimes that meant he had to correct me. I try to emulate his example in my opportunities to work with youth today.

I loved serving with Elder Jarman at Temple Square--he and Dixina were fireballs and spread cheerful energy to everyone who worked around them. Chuck always had a mischievous twinkle in his eye! I loved being around him and Dixina because they would make you feel totally accepted and that they were genuinely so happy to see you--like going to your favorite Aunt and Uncle's home. Grateful I was able to know him and no doubt he's spreading more smiles where he is now!

May the many memories he helped create find root in your heart and bring special recollection to your mind as you both mourn and celebrate his life...and may God bless you as you deal with his passing.
