I remember going to church each Sunday and sitting in front of your family. I always wanted to sit near Chase because of such the warm feeling that his exuberant spirit put out. I was only little, maybe five or six, but i will NEVER forget his endless smiles and the joy he brought to everyone in and around his life. You will meet again, but until then, he will watch over your family and be the angel he has always been, only more.

Chase had a pure, angelic spirit whose smile and presence would light up any room. It was so sweet to see all of his family care tenderly for him and see his expression when Shaun and Cherie would jump up on his lap. This is one of my first memories of my new neighborhood in West Jordan. Thanks to all the MacKay family for your example of tender, loving care. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. May God strengthen you at this difficult time.

What a handsome angel! Heaven is a really lucky place! I will always be grateful for Chase and his smile! He made my first year at Jordan Valley a little more pleasant! It was a true treat to know him even for a very short time!
A song always comes to my mind when one of our sweet students passes: From the Musical Wicked
"Because I knew you...I have been changed for good!!"

To his family:

May you feel God's arms wrapped more tightly around you today!!! Thank you for sharing him with us!

Love you Chase!

I remember Chase from Jordan Valley. When he didn't smile(which was rare), you knew something was very wrong. What a beautiful soul. I'm sure you will miss him but I know that he is better hands and his body is perfect now. I pray for God's comfort during this difficult time. Lisa, JVS
