Christian ran into his Heavenly Father's arms on Sunday March 23, 2014.
No longer limited by Spina-Bifida, he is free to run on the beach, play football and baseball!!!! Christian was born September 30, 2002in Atlanta, Georgia and was sealed to his family in Memphis, Tennessee. Christian loved playing on the beaches in Israel, Miracle League Baseball, watching the Dallas Cowboys, playing with Thor his standard poodle, seeing his friends at Jenny P. Stewart Elementary, relentlessly teasing his nurses and most of all spending time with his family and friends.
Christian is survived by his mother, Heidi Lyn Edens, Centerville UT; father, Brandon (Jacqueline) Edens, Ogden UT; brothers, Jory Edens, Rexburg ID; Gabriel Edens and wife, Kelsey of Twenty-Nine Palms, CA; Paxton Edens, St. George UT; sisters, Alexanderia Edens, Edmonton Canada Mission; Adriana Edens, Centerville UT.
A celebration of life will be held during recess, his favorite class at 12:00 noon Saturday March 29, 2014 at the Centerville 9th Ward Chapel (1475 North 50 East, Centerville UT 84014) . Family and friends are invited to say goodbye to Christian from 10:00 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. immediately prior to the Celebration of life.
The family would like to thank the nurses at Ivy Lane Pediatrics; Everyone at Primary Children's Hospital; Le Bonheur Children's Hospital; and Mike and Ernie of "Ability Found" The miracle of Freedom.
The family requests in lieu of flowers or gifts that donations may be made in Christian's honor to "Ability Found" www.abilityfound.org

Shelby enjoyed getting to know Christian at school at Jennie P. I liked seeing him say hello to us at the crosswalks as he cruised along in his super chair. I will never forget his precious smile . Or how sweet his eyes looked when he seen his Momma . He was so blessed to have such a caring and loving family . So sorry to hear of his loss ! Fly high sweet angel Christian ! Love you ??

Christian was such a joy to know this past year. I looked forward to his teasing and playful ways even in his hardest nights. He taught me a lot about fighting the good fight even when it isn't easy or fun. Thank you, Heidi and Brandon, for allowing me to know your treasure. I pray for strength and healing for your family through your loss. I'm forever changed knowing him.
