Clare Anderson Obituary

Clare Louise Dent Anderson Together Again Clare Louise Dent Anderson, 86, died March 4, 2008, after a living a full and eventful life. Born July 6, 1921 in Salt Lake City to Colletta Marie (McHale) and Phillip Arthur Dent. Louise married Keith Harry Anderson, her high school sweetheart, on April 18, 1941. Graduated from East High School and attended business school. She worked at Salt Lake Hardware until the birth of her daughter, Karen Louise. Together with her husband and her children, Kevin and Nancy, she assisted in the operation of the family business, Anderson Produce. Louise shared her love of skiing, boating, camping, and flying with family and friends. Keith and Louise became private pilots in their 40's. She was a member of the Utah chapter of women pilots, the Ninety-Niners. Louise was very proud of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Each held a special place in her heart. She was mindful of those in need and very generous with all that she had. Survivors include sisters, Phyllis Carter and Jeanne Sume, sister-in-law, Arda Hewlett, children, Patricia Wilson, Nancy Terry, Kevin Anderson, son-in-law, George Malouf. Her husband, Keith (2001) and daughter, Karen Malouf (1981) sister, Gloria Neville and brother, Barney Dent preceded her in death. Grandchildren include: Mark Malouf, Mike Malouf, Matt Malouf, Michelle Malouf, and Marylynn (Malouf) Ulibarri; Nick Arentz, and Shannon (Arentz) Lozano; Craig Young, Cindy (Young) Sims, Amy (Young) Deahr, and Ryan Terry; Chelsea and Amber Anderson; and 30 great-grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday 1:00 p.m. at St. Ambrose Catholic Church 1975 S. 2300 East. A Vigil service will be held Friday 7:00 p.m. at the Neil O'Donnell & Sons Mortuary 372 East 100 South where friends may call from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Committal Mt. Calvary Cemetery 4th Ave. & T Street. After Saturday's services, family & friends are invited to join in the celebration of her life at the Anderson home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the charity of your choice.
