CORY GOODWIN was a dedicated teacher, a devoted disciple and an exemplary man.

Cory Goodwin won my esteem through his devoted service as a primary teacher. The depth of his testimony was evident in the remarkable way in which he prepared himself to serve the children for which he had stewardship. He knew his calling was from the Lord and took his responsibility to teach with the spirit seriously. He was always not only prepared but well prepared. He loved the children but kept them on track and they individually reported what a great teacher he was. In my role in the primary presidency, I was privileged not only to visit his class but to talk to Cory about his students. My family will witness that at the time he taught, I would regularly come home and comment about how incredible Cory Goodwin is.

Cory loved his family. One of my greatest memories is the pride he felt for his children and wife. I felt that he and Hillary were blessed with a great relationship. I remember Hillary sharing with me her teenage devotion to Cory and I also remember Cory speaking with great love about Hillary. I watched the way Cory interacted with his children and felt that they were truly lucky to have such a great father.

Cory may not be on earth at this time, but I am confident that Hillary, Allie, Zach, Benjamin and Grace are LUCKY to have had him even if the time was short.

Dear Goodwin Family, as a childhood friend of Cory's, I was deeply saddened to hear about Cory leaving us so soon. My sincere condolences.

Cory and I had many laughs in High School; what a sense of humor! I remember Cory as a good student; he was naturally intelligent. Cory was also very caring of others, an observer, yet a person of action. Always with enormous potential - which I am certain he achieved. Cory was admired and liked by everyone - and I mean everyone. In fact, this week I have had many, many calls from friends all over the US sharing stories, fond memories and remembering Cory's zest for life. Some how, some way, he's helped us reconnect the dots all over again.

Mom and Dad Goodwin, you raised a great son. What a blessing. My heart and prayers are with you right now.

Dear Hilary and kids, your husband and Dad was truly remarkable; able to positively impact my life as a high school friend and again decades later. He is a terrific example of perseverance, love and how friendship can last a lifetime.

You all are in my thoughts and prayers. I know the hurt is almost unbearable right now. Please reach out for support, love and encouragement whenever need you to. We are here to help you anytime...

Sincerely,

Adam Green

David and LeeAnne, I want to extend our deepest sympathy to you and all the family. There is just not words that can be said that is good enough. But that through the gospel and the great plan of salvation your grief will be made lighter and life will get back to normal. But with that hope you know you will be with your son, husband and father and brother again. May his sweet spirit live with you all for ever. I know I have wonderful memories of Cory and all the guys from the Monument Park 5th ward.
