Ledesma family, I am so sorry for your loss. I'm not quite sure where to start, all of my best hockey memories have Dave in them. He made hockey so much fun. I'll never forget the pizza restaraunt in Sun Valley when I thought I was doing him a favor by putting ice in his pitcher of beer. :0) He just shook his head and laughed. Dave had a vibe about him that made everyone smile. I think about you guys often. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I will always cherish the many memories.

They don't come any better than "Neighbor Dave"! He helped our family out many times when we lived next door. Dave was the coolest kid on the block, everyone knew that. He was so excited and supportive for Wyatt's hockey, we will always be grateful for his help and advice. No doubt he will be missed. May his beloved memory bring your family peace at this very difficult time. With much love, The McNeil Family.

Dear Celeste & Family. I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Dave. I have not forgotten my short time with you all so many years ago water skiing, 4wheeling, hanging out with the kids at grandma & grandpa's house by the pool. He had so much energy and was always happy. I wish you all the best and you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I was so sad to see Dave's obituary, and I send my deepest sympathy to all of his loved ones. I too remember your awesome family from the Relay for Life in Riverton last August. (Brenda Speirs is my daughter.) I was so impressed with the strong love and support exhibited by your family. I am sure that same love and support will help carry you through the difficult days ahead. May sweeet memories sustain you.

Dear Celeste and Family. We are so sorry to hear about your loss. It’s been a long time since we were together at the rink but the memories are still so clear. Dave brought so much fun and excitement to the team, it seems as if it were just yesterday. There where times in the locker room and on the bench that it was hard to tell who had more fun Dave or the kids! I am proud to have known him and it was an honor to have him as an assistance coach on our travel team. He was the life of the trips and filled the locker room with laugher that only he could bring, even when we lost. All the boys loved him, he's a great loss to our Hockey Family. Dave made a difference in many lives of the young men he coached and he will not be forgotten. Please know that our hearts and prayers are with you and your family, Robert Knapton and family.

Our hearts, thoughts, tears & prayers are with your family at this tragic time. Dave "Uncle Dude" was such a wonderful soul to be around. His laughter was contagious as was his spirit. He was always an expample of turning negative into positive. Dave was and still is an inspiration to my 3 children. Especially Landon & Jayden. He treated them as if they were his own. Our family has been praying for him for quite some time. Unfortunately for us who are left behind, the answer to prayer was not the one we were looking for. Please accept our heart felt condolences. We mourn with you. May all the prayers and love of those around you help you find strenth right now. Just know how lucky he was to have a family like you.

Dear Sky and Family,

God knows there will be sorrow so he gives us tears to cry, he knows there will be trails when his children ask him "why" then he takes us by the hand to lead us through, he feels the pain we feel and above all he knows a heart takes time to heal. Remember when god calls home a soal and stills a fleeting breath a fathers love is waiting there. this too is birth, not death. For Sky my main Guy we love you and remember a friend is someone who reaches for your hand and touches your heart. We have you and your Family in our prayers. God Bless. The Veguilla's

Celeste and family, I have been having flash backs all morning of the great hockey trips with the kids. And what a great coach Dave was. He made hockey so fun for the kids. He played right along with them. Everyone sleeping on the bus pulling up in front of the ice rink just in time to play a game in Arizona. What fun that was. The team pool party. Dave was the life of the party. Holly loved him as a coach and a friend. As we did too. Thanks for the memories Dave. Our prayers are with you and your family.
Love, Taryn and Lori Culverwell

Dave you were a very good friend to my Mom and Dad.(Julie and Craig) You will be missed. I remember when I was 13 yrs old we were over at your Mom and Dad's house having a BBQ. You taught me how to squish a pop can by standing on it, and touching the side with my finger. I thought that was the coolest thing ever, and to this day I still squish them that way! You always knew how to make everyone laugh, and you always had a good time! Rest in peace. Love, Ashley

Celeste & Family, we are so saddened at the loss of Dave after such a long and strong battle. Our sympathy and hearts go to all of you. Dave was always a man who brought life into everything, he always had a joke and a smile and we will miss him terribly. I don't think a Raider game or get together without him will ever be the same. Dave always has been another brother to me and I know a closer brother with Bo. He has found peace now and I know he is with his father looking at all with a smile and proud of what terrific people he lived his life with. We were very honored to have had him in the time we did.
