Faye was one of the prettiest and nicest girls I knew at DHS '48.
One of the meals I enjoyed so much that it is still bright in my memory was prepared by a young Lieutenant's wife at Williams AFB, AZ in 1955 for a home sick Aviation Cadet. It was my first Ribeye steak.
When Faye joined Jerry at CHS activities, her smile and enthusiasm brightened the day.
Her achievements amaze me.

To the family of Faye Purdy: I enjoyed many years being a "daughter" to Faye and Gerry--as they invited me to go various places with them and my friend, Susan. Faye was my role model. I remember her going to Utah State and finishing her degree in Home Economics. I just finished my undergraduate degree (after these many years!) in the same field, with the updated name of Family and Consumer Sciences. (I don't have a teaching certificate, however.) Faye was a person who liked to do a lot of things, and she had many interests, including art, which I admired. It enriched my life having known such a wonderful person. Her courage in the face of leukemia was admirable. Much love to all the family.

My condolences about your mother. She was a wonderful lady and teacher. I was from the class of 1974, Davis High. Again, my thoughts are with your family.
