I knew Craig and his parents all my life, and had the honor of knowing LeeAnn before she married him. We became best of friends and her husband, Craig, was my Bishop at the time of my own marriage. I feel ashamed that we lost contact through the years and didn't find out about his passing until after the fact.
Bishop Sudbury was a true friend to everyone and so was LeeAnn. I still can't believe he is gone.
LeeAnn, please know that I still love you and care about you. I would love to get together and catch up on our lives. May the Lord bless you and keep you always.
Much love,

Dear LeeAnn and family,
Words can't express the shock and grief I feel over Craig's sudden passing. I just found out about it yesterday - the anniversary of my brother's death. I have known Craig all my life and he was always such a great example - he was a wonderful Bishop. I always thought of him as my good friend. I wish I would have known about his passing so we could have attended his funeral. I always knew that he was destined for great things but I had no idea just how great he was! Please accept our love and sympathy. We love you...

President Sudbury was one of the most compassionate men I'd ever met, and hearing of his journey to the next part of life brought sadness to my family. As they say, though, grieving is one of the purest forms of love. May the Sudbury family feel the humbling, beautiful impact he had on so many hearts and lives.
Love,

LeeAnn, We were so saddened to see this. Craig was such a special man. He took such wonderful care of our Sweet Aunt Pearl. It was always a pleasure to be around you both. We remember the wonderful family Christmas parties you so graciously hosted in your home, and always made us feel so welcome when we came to visit Aunt Pearl . Craig was the best, always so upbeat and positive about life. We live in Mesa, Arizona now so we won't be able to attend his service, but we'll be there in spirit. Condolences and love to you and those wonderful children Craig was so proud of.

I would like to express my sincerest condolences to the family, church members and friends of Dr. F. Craig Sudbury. I still remember how moved I was with his recitation of "The Masters Hand" so much that I was compelled to print a copy and share with my family.
I am not only proud to have called him a colleague but also a friend. We often spoke about work related issues but never finished a conversation without discussing our families and how blessed we were to have them. I will forever remember those times and how he would beam at the mention of his wife and children (and mine too).
I don't know that I will ever meet another like him but, I am sure glad I got the chance to before his transition to "The Master's Hand".

Our heart felt condolences go out to the entire family. Craig (President Sudbury to me) was both a true friend, professional colleague and mentor. Whenever I needed either religious or temporal counsel he was always there. We spent many an hour talking about our families and loved ones. He was a giant among men. He will be truly missed.

Craig was nothing but wonderful to me and exemplified Christ in all he did. I treasure the time we spent playing scrabble, having movie nights, and singing Sweet Leilani and giggling. Service opportunities were never far when Craig Sudbury was around.

My heartfelt condolences to Craig's family. I worked with MTC for twenty years and came back to the MTC family three years ago. Craig was a kind person to everyone and personally welcomed me back with that huge smile. While walking during lunch a few weeks ago, I ran into him and we both commented on "getting our steps in for the day".
May your family know he will be missed here not just for his passion for education but his kind presence and humor.
