Gordon Fiefia Obituary
Return With Honor
On December 13, 2013, just six weeks short of his 48th birthday, Gordon quietly slipped into eternity after a short battle with the flu. He was a happy person and never complained of anything. He lived a very simple and happy life. Likewise, he appeared very happy and content up to his dying moment. There was no struggle, he simply passed into the loving arms of his Heavenly Father.
Gordon was born on February 12, 1966. The youngest of twelve children.
Gordon was the favorite of the family and among all the nieces, nephews and grandkids. In a loving and neighborly way, Gordon was "adopted" by the Bergener family. Thy lovingly cared for him as one of their own children.
He was closely and loyally attached to his mom, Ma'ata. Gordon had nothing but friends. The life of everyone who came to know him well was forever changed for the better. All memories of him are happy and good.
Gordon was preceded in death by his brother, Wilford Hansen. He is survived by his parents, Isileli and Ma'ata Fiefia, siblings, Mele Latu, Moses Fiefia, Filimone Fiefia, Heleine Fakaosiula, Wilford Fiefia, Taniela Fiefia, Sione Fiefia, Tevita T Fiefia, David Fiefia, Viu Fiefia, Leila Fiefia and Melelupe Tuivai.
Funeral services were held on January 6, 2014 at the Riverside 2nd Ward.

I had the opportunity to meet Gordon on Christmas Eve, but I feel like I have known him for some time. He had a twinkle in his eyes that I will never forget, he was full of love. We are lucky we had a chance to meet him. My prayers go out to his friends and family. You truly have an angel looking over you!
