I was truly blessed to have known Jean, whom I called Grandmother for 27 years of my life. She was the heart and soul of our family. She gave me Alison, which gave me my soul mate Matthew. I remember hanging out at her house on Walker lane, watching Matthew play tennis or doing yard work and remembering how she made me feel at home. She would walk into the room with elegance and grace and place a dish of homemade gingersnap cookies and a glass of grape lemonade on the table and say "Please help yourself dear." I also feel truly blessed that our daughter was able to to meet her and spend time with her. That is two miracles in itself. This last year we have all been blessed to spend the time with Grandmother, as she held on to her dignity until the end. I would like to say Thank you Uncle Uncle, A, and Sister for giving her the comfort to stay in her home, and Pop playing the music that gave her so much joy. We have all been given the miracle of knowing her and have been given the gift that she has given to us, FAMILY!

We are so grateful to have known Jean - a truly remarkable woman, with integrity and style, grace and dignity.
Jean had an open mind and took great interest in the world around her including us - new family members from Scandinavia.
We will always remember her in our hearts.

Jean was a wonderful person and always a good friend to our mom, Patricia Earl Wallin. All those who knew her loved her and will miss her dearly. She was by the far the most gracious women I knew.... love to the family and to all who knew her. She made our lives better.

This is a loss that is felt by many. Jeannie only had to smile and I would feel better. She always had a warm greeting for me and my family. What a grand woman. Love to all. She will be missed.

Grandmother Jean was such a beautiful and graceful woman. I remember Christmas at her condo; it was always so beautifully decorated and elegant. You will be greatly missed by all that knew you because to know you meant loving and respecting you. Rest in Peace beautiful lady. Love Nancy (of Brian and Cheryl Kirk)
