Jeremy Cordova Obituary
1976 ~ 2020 In Loving Memory
Murray, UT.- Jeremy E. Cordova passed away unexpectedly Dec. 15th, 2020 due to complications from Covid-19. Jeremy was born Feb. 3rd, 1976 to Gregory V. and Jennie Cordova. He married Marilyn Waters Cordova June 23, 2001 and they welcomed their one and only son, Gregory James Cordova on Feb. 13th, 2004. His son was the light of his life. The majority of his free time was quality time spent with his family.
He is preceded in death by his brother Rick. Survived by his wife and son, his parents, sister Tiffany, and numerous Uncles, Aunts, Nephews, Nieces, and Cousins.
Special thank you to his American Express family and the RICU medical staff at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray. Due to the ongoing pandemic, no service will be held.

I am so sorry to hear about Jeremy. I know the pain is unbearable. I remember Jeremy bringing Gregory into his grandpa Greg’s salon and then he was a toddler. Jeremy will be missed. Again I am so sorry. Time helps to heal the deep wound that at times is so agonizing. Much love sent your way.

I joined Jeremy's team at American Express just earlier this year as a loan to help his team during the pandemic. He made me feel welcome and treated me as any other team member, even though officially I still work for a different team. He was a very welcoming individual and always made time to help out and teach a process to his coworkers.
Because of this Pandemic, I never go the chance to meet him face to face, but he was fast becoming a good friend even with the minimal contact we did have over video chats and messaging.
You will be missed at American Express my friend!

I remember sitting in close proximity to Jeremy during business dinners and that's where I got first to know him. It was evident he had a joy for life and was full of fun and laughter. I am so sorry for your loss.

I am so very sorry to come across this Greg. I am so grateful that you are close to God to get you through this. Our children are our more joyous gifts and this pandemic has been wicked. My brother Jeremy was so kind, loving, and caring. He had a way of making people feel comfortable and welcome. He wouldn't even no you and just walk right up introduce himself and strike up a conversation. He had such a Bubbly personality and always had a Genuine Smile on his face and you could tell it was Genuine because it was so Big that it caused his cheeks to rise and really stand out and that Laugh, Truely one of a kind, I LOVED HIS CHUCKLE!!!
My brother would always try to push me to do thangs I needed to do to better myself. Over the past few day's I realized that last time I got clean Jeremy was trying to push me to get into working for a drug treatment center, and ironically I have just started working for Odyssey House as a Peer Support Specialist doing the Very Thang my brother was trying to push me towards doing 12 years ago!!!
He always seemed to no what was Best. I took time off of work and actually wanted to take off yesterday to, but I could hear Jeremy in my head saying Sis you got to go to work you can't just keep sitting here all sad... So I pushed myself to go and I'm glad I did, I received ALOT of support from my co-workers. I no my brother wants me to live my life to the fullest, So that's what I'm going strive to do!!!

Were so sorry and so sad to hear about Jeremy. Watching him grow from a kid to a grown man with his own son, whom he loved more than himself, was amazing to watch.
Jeremy was loyal to a fault, you didn't have to see him all the time, he'd just pick up from where you left off the last time...

It is so hard to express the sadness and pain we feel today. We have so many happy memories of spending time with Jeremy as he was growing up. He and our two boys were as much brothers as they were cousins. Jeremy - You're a brother that Todd and I adored since we were small, and for us, the day when you left us was the saddest time of all.
But all the memories that we've shared from the time you were a boy, have only ever filled my heart with happiness and joy.
