John Bardin Obituary
1980 ~ 2013
John Benjamin Bardin passed away on October 19, 2013, surrounded by family and friends. His long and valiant struggle with Marfan Syndrome came to a peaceful end.
John was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on April 16, 1980 to Pamela Kathleen (Holbrook) and Jefferson Davis Bardin. He married Heather Marie (Blue) on September 4, 2005.
Heather and Bryan were the center of his universe, and family was his only priority. His heart wasn't strong, but it was large enough to include everyone he met. He was patient, kind, and always eager to help someone in need. His laughter was contagious, and his sense of humor helped us all through the rough spots.
He loved soccer, fishing, camping, and gardening. Being outdoors was always a treat - especially at the beach or in the mountains. He loved assembling and racing radio-controlled cars, and he was the undisputed champion of Monopoly and Risk.
John is survived by his wife, Heather (Blue) Bardin, son Bryan, parents Jeff and Pam Bardin, sister Joelle (Boyd) Hazzard, brother Jeremy Bardin, niece Grace Steele, and grandmother Wilma Blue.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at 12:00 noon at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway (10600 South), South Jordan, Utah. Viewings will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 pm and on Wednesday from 11:00-11:45 am at the funeral home. Interment West Jordan City Cemetery. Special thanks to Dr. Donald Doty and Dr. John Doty and the caring staff at the IMC Heart Failure Clinic. You gave us 11 more years to be with John. Thanks also to Quality Solace Services for their compassionate care until the very end.

Oh I am so sorry to the Bardin family. I rememer John when he was 10 years old. I was a girlfiend to his older sister Joelle... He was so nice and always made me laugh and was just a pleasureto be around. His smile lit up the room. Well your family is in my thoughts and prayers. I'm so/sorry for your loss.

Heather, Bryan,& Mr & Mrs Bartin, so sorry to hear about John, he was the most kindest person we have ever met. We really wish we could be there with you in this time of need. Just know that we are thinking about you all the time. We owe John and his parents so much for looking out for one of ours, there is not enough money in the world to repay you but our love is over flowing.
