Joshua Goodwin Obituary
Jake passed away on August 5, 2014. He was born on December 26, 1985 to Chuck and Kathy Goodwin.
From the time Jake was born he was as stubborn as they came. He had a beautiful soul and an infectious smile. He loved sports and fishing. Jake fought the horrors of addiction for 6 years. Now you can rest in peace son, your fight is over.
We would like to thank everyone that tried to help him in their own special ways. It was noticed and appreciated.
Survived by mom and dad, brothers, Dallas (KaiCee) Goodwin, Travis (Taryn) Goodwin, grandmother, Margie Hall, aunts and uncles, niece and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Friday, August 8, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the American Fork Cemetery, 600 North Center Street under the direction of Anderson & Sons Mortuary. Please share a memory at andersonmortuary.com

Jake is at peace now. It's a horrible disease and so difficult to cure. My son has been going through this for the last 9 years. My prayers are with you and your family to also find peace in all of this. God is with you and he will help you move forward.

I had only met jake once or twice, my husband faced the same addiction but overcame it. Unfortunately he passed away in June and I am sure he is welcoming jake into paradise. My condolences to the family and friends.

I didn't know him, and don't know your family, but the obit. broke my heart. You are so smart to say the reason he passed away. I pray that parents will share this sad truth with their children.. my Granddaughter is fighting the drug demons. God bless your family.
