JOSHUA PARK
Joshua Don Park "Chopper" Our beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew and friend returned to his Heavenly Father on September 17, 2009 to be united with his special grampa and uncle. He was born Dec. 31, 1978 to Edward Park and Diane Workman in Riverton, UT. As this day comes to pass a great man leaves the world. Throughout his life he always showed love and concern for those in need, sometimes going without so others could suffice. Josh always had a special spirit and enjoyed spending time with his gramma Park who he admired and respected for her great strength and understanding. He had a rare talent of tinkering with things, cars, A.T.V.'s and toys and could tear or put things together without any instructions needed. He attended Bingham H.S. and began employment at K.U.C.C. Bingham mine in 1999 to carry on four generations of mining history. He loved hunting, baseball, and operating heavy equipment and excelled in all. He is survived by his daughter Tori Coy, father Edward (Virginia) Park, mother Diane Workman, brother and sisters Jerad (Andrea) Park, Amber Park, Deseray Brown, special nieces and nephews, Kylee, Casey, Brendan Park, Asher Brown, gramma Naomi Park, Barbara (Jim) Wilson, grampa Don Workman, numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday September 23 at 1:00 p.m. at the Bluffdale LDS Church, 14650 So. 3200 W. Friends may call Tuesday September 22 from 6-8 p.m. at the Broomhead Funeral Home 12600 So. 2200 W. and Wednesday one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be at Riverton City Cemetery, 13200 So. 1500 W. following funeral service.

To the Family of our dear, sweet friend,
We still think of Josh often. We had the honor or meeting him a little over 20 years ago when they did some cement work at our house for us. He was so shy, but you could tell he was a tender soul. I remember everytime he moved he would call us to come and see his new place. He was so proud and excited. I think of him everyday. And I feel in my heart that he is at peace now. I was sad when he changed shifts because I got a kick of bring him out something for his lunch...he was so excited and grateful. I loved it. To the family I know it takes time but soon you will be at peace, just always remember the good memories. Rest in peace sweetheart.

IF TOMORROW NEVER COMES!!!!

If I knew it would be the last time that I'd see you fall asleep,
I would tuck you in more tightly and pray the Lord, your soul to keep.

If I knew it would be the last time that I'd see you walk out the door,
I would give you a hug and kiss and call you back for one more.

If I knew it would be the last time I'd hear your voice lifted up in praise,
I would video tape each action and word, so I could play them back day after day.

If I knew it would be the last time, I could spare an extra minute or two
to stop and say "I love you," instead of assuming, you would KNOW I do.

If I knew it would be the last time I would be there to share your day,
well, I'm sure you'll have so many more, so I can let just this one slip away.

For surely there's always tomorrow to make up for an oversight,
and we always get a second chance to make everything right.

There will always be another day to say our "I love you's",
And certainly there's another chance to say our "Anything I can do's?"

But just in case I might be wrong and today is all I get,
I'd like to say how much I love you and I hope we never forget,
Tomorrow is not promised to anyone, young or old alike,
And today may be the last chance you get to hold your loved one tight.

So if you're waiting for tomorrow, why not do it today?
For if tomorrow never comes, you'll surely regret the day,
That you didn't take that extra time for a smile, a hug, or a kiss
and you were too busy to grant someone,
what turned out to be their one last wish.

So hold your loved ones close today, whisper in their ear,
Tell them how much you love them and that you'll always hold them dear,
Take time to say "I'm sorry," "please forgive me," "thank you" or "it's okay".
And if tomorrow never comes, you'll have no regrets about today."

Josh, You always have and always will hold a dear and special place in my heart. I loved being able to watch you grow up, being able to tend you and Jerad and Amber. You always made me smile and laugh. Christmas day will never be the same over at Grandma's without being able to see you, I would always wait at Mom and Dad's and peer out the window until I saw your car or any sign of you and then I would rush right over. I loved to watch you open the gifts from Grandma, she usually got you something like hot wheels, even as an adult and you were always truly grateful and would open them right up and play with them, Grandma loved it. You were and always will be very special to Grandma and I have so much respect and gratitude for you for always being there and caring for her like no other. I've always looked forward to visits with Grandma in hopes that you might be there and if you weren't, at least I would be able to hear how you were and what you'd been up too. I never got sick of hearing about you! This life will never be the same without you. I truly love you. I will find peace in knowing that you are at peace and happy. I look forward to the day when we meet again. Say "Hi" to Grandpa for me, I know you two are having a blast.

Uncle Eddie, Virginia, Jerad, Andrea, Kylee, Casey, Amber, Brendan, Deseray and Asher,

Josh was always an accepting guy regardless of who you were. The first time that I met Josh was in front of his dads house when his mother and i started to see eachother. He was always the one to greet me with a smile and a hi. As the years went by Josh and I had what seemed to be a special bond with eachother. He and I shared alot of the same interests with the outdoors, his and jerads work ethics were one of a kind. Josh had a heart of gold with a love for others. My wife was very touched that he would accept her and treat her like a friend. I am greatful to have gotten to share the memories and the laughs that i did when i did with Josh thru all those years. Josh you will always bring a smile and a chuckle to me with every thought. YOUR LOVED BY MANY AND MISSED BY ALL BUD.

Our love and prayers go out to the family! Josh was A great man! and will be missed greatly! When the kids were younger, JOSH, Davey, Jeremy, Cody, they hung out at our house, and would go fishing, hunting, and hang out! Josh was great with kids, our younger daughter would be so happy to see him when he came over, she would want a horsey ride and he would always give her one,and than he would even twirl her around too. And he would all ways tease her, she had this Popeye gum ball machine that was her uncles, that passed away. And he would say to her when are you going to give me that gum ball machine! but she didn't know till she got older that he collected Popeye stuff. Josh will all miss you but not forget you. Our prayers are with you!

TO THE FAMILY,
THIS IS A SHOCK! JOSH WAS A WONDERFUL YOUNG MAN. WE WERE FORTUNATE TO HAVE KNOWN HIM! HE WAS AN HONEST AND CARING PERSON, WHAT YOU COULD CALL A TRUE FRIEND! HE WAS ALWAYS HAPPY TO SEE THAT I HAD HOT SAUCE AND CHIPS! I THINK HE COULD HAVE LIVED ON IT! AT CHRISTMAS TIME HE WOULD COME OVER WITH COOKIES IN HAND AND GO HOME WITH CHIPS AND SALSA AND A BIG SMILE ON HIS FACE! NOT SURE IF HE SHARED IT WITH HIS FAMILY! COME ON NOW HE WAS GIVING, BUT IT WAS HIS HOT SAUCE! HE WAS WHAT YOU WOULD CONSIDER A TRUE FRIEND! HE WAS A GREAT FRIEND TO DAMIAN THROUGH GOODS TIMES AND BAD! ALSO BECOMING A FRIEND TO VANESSA, ANGELA, BENJAMIN AND MYSELF! ANGELA SAID HE WAS LIKE HER BIG BROTHER! HE STOOD BY OUR FAMILY AS IF HE WAS ONE OF US! MESS WITH ANY ONE OF US, THEN YOU MESS WITH HIM! THERE YOU GO, A TRUE FRIEND! HE COULD BE BE SO CALM, EVEN WHEN HIS HAND GOT CUT AT OUR HOUSE AND HAD TO GO TO EMERGENCY! OH IT WAS NOTHING, HE WOULD HAVE BEEN HAPPY WITH JUST A BANDAGE AND JUST CONTINUE HAVING FUN WITH THE BOYS! CALLING EDDIE AND TELLING HIM JOSH WAS GOING TO THE E.R. WAS A HARD THING TO DO! THOUGHT HE WOULD BE SO ANGRY BUT IT WAS COOL! BOYS WILL BE BOYS! (AND IT SURE WAS FUNNY TO TALK ABOUT IT LATER!). YOU RAISED A GOOD SON! YOU SHOULD BE PROUD! WE LOVED HAVING JOSH AT OUR HOUSE AS MUCH AS HE LOVED BEING HERE! WE COULD HAVE NEVER BEEN TIRED OF HIM! CAN'T SAY THAT ABOUT VERY MANY PEOPLE...HE WAS A BIG GUY WITH A BIG HEART! OH HOW WE CRIED THE DAY YOU LEFT US! GO REST HIGH ON THAT MOUNTAIN, SON YOUR WORK ON EARTH IS DONE!
GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU AND HELP YOU THROUGH IT ALL,
WE WILL MISS HIM SOOOO MUCH!

Josh was a man who lived his life with compassion and integrity. Even as a young boy, he could sense people's needs, and would always try to do something to help them. As he grew into a man, he continued to put others' needs before his own. He also grew into a man who believed in personal responsibility. He worked hard to make sure he met his obligations, all the while never complaining about the work that lay before him. I am very proud of Josh, and I am honored to be his Uncle.
