Kathryn Adiel Ivie Turner Frost
1927-2021
On Monday, May 31st, 2021, Kathryn Adiel Ivie Turner Frost, mother of four, grandmother of 17, great-grandmother of 41, and great, great grandmother of 4 (with a 5th added on June 5th and 3 sets of twins all due in the fall) passed away at the age of 93. She was born in Lyman Wyoming on Sept 6, 1927 to Lloyd Ivie and Nora Blamires Ivie. She grew up in Salt Lake city, Utah and graduated high school at West High School. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Willis Turner and Burt Frost and by her oldest daughter, Katherine Frances Turner Ruff. She was employed at Emporium Capwell's in California and Auerbach's department store and then Granite Furniture in Utah where she retired in 2004.
She had a passion for traveling and visiting family. She loved Disneyland and roller coasters which she rode until the age of 91. She had a way of taking care of everyone with her kind and compassionate spirit. She will be greatly missed

I work with Kay at Granite Furniture for years. I loved her. She was so amazingly wonderful with everyone. After she moved in with her son I did not see her, but I love her and she will be very much missed. You and Virginia can work together again now Love you and I will miss you.
