Farmington, UT Our graceful, kind, magnificent Mother, Grandma, Great Grandma, loved neighbor and dear friend, reunited with her husband Ross, daughter Shauna, and son Bob on Monday, May 31, 2021. Camille grew up in Fillmore, Utah, the daughter of Lois Turpin and Earl Roper. Camille attended Millard High School, where she was a cheerleader and excelled at many other interests. Camille moved to Salt Lake City after graduation. Her favorite thing to do was "go dancing", which is where she met the one and only love of her life, Ross Clyde Bradshaw, who literally lifted her feet right off the dance floor. It wasn't long before their love grew, and they were married March 18, 1949. They made their home in Bountiful, Utah, where Ross built their dream home literally brick by brick. Their home was completed as Ross's health declined, but he made sure it was perfect for his surviving wife and children. It was more than perfect, as Camille remained in the home for 60+ years. Together, Camille and Ross had 4 incredible children; Shauna, Bob, Kenny, and Jan. Camille faced the unimaginable loss of her sweetheart, Ross, at only 32 years old. Never to remarry, she was left to raise her 4 children, who at the time of their father's death, were between only 10 years old, all the way down to only 18 months old, all on her own.

As she quickly became the only breadwinner, she went to work for the United States Postal Service. This led to a 35-year career in which she enjoyed the frequent customers who would wait and let others go before them, just to be in Camille's line. She truly loved her job, her many coworkers-who became her dear friends. As Camille worked to provide for her family, she also took immaculate care of their home and yard, where she spent countless hours tending lovingly to her flowers and shrubs with precision and pride. Weeds didn't stand a chance in her flower beds even for a second! She loved to dig in the dirt, as it became her therapy and joy for nearly 60 years. Camille also was an extremely gifted golfer, where she won many awards. She loved to travel, from Bear Lake, to Shauna's ranch in Heber City, or cruising on the ocean. But her main interest was and always will be her family. She played the impossible role of both mother and father, she made profound sacrifices, and ensured her children thrived no matter what it took. All the while, her own needs and wants were at the bottom of her list- by her own intention.

Camille faced many losses; her oldest daughter, beautiful Shauna, tragically passed in 2002, and her beloved son "Bobby" much too soon, in March 2021. Somehow Camille was able to stich her broken heart each time, as she became too familiar with heartbreak. The weight of any of her hardships and loneliness would be nearly insurmountable for most people, but to her, she chose her legacy with purpose. She was the perfect example of unconditional love, laughing through the tears, adaptability, independence, humor, and incredible strength. Her grit to push through the hardest times, was perhaps, her greatest attribute.

Her home was a safe refuge and a popular hang-out for many of her kids' friends over the years, and not a speck of dust could be found looming nearby. No one could ever leave hungry on her watch, and she'd offer up anything and everything she had. One of her most used phrases was, "What do you need that I have laying around here? What can I get you?"

Our mom and Grandma was the classiest of ladies; always with a perfectly styled hair-do (which may be the ONLY thing she was fussy about), freshly painted nails, a coordinating outfit, a perfect smile, and a twinkle in her crystal blue eyes. Her collectables were beautiful; delicate dishes, shiny flatware, jewelry, valuable stamp collections, her love of Angels and 'Precious Moments' figurines lined her shelves and cupboards. Camille was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and held many callings throughout the years. In her later years, Camille found great joy every Tuesday when she was volunteering at the gift shop located inside Lakeview Hospital.

If you knew Camille, chances are you were also drawn in by her inner beauty, and pure goodness. She radiated light and always had a sense of humor and quick wit to lighten the mood. She loved to laugh and gave gracious compliments that were sincere and thoughtful. She instilled important values and deep traditions in the hearts of her posterity. She loved sports, whether watching her team, The Jazz, or the countless hours she spent as our #1 fan on the sidelines, always supporting her grandchildren and great grandchildren in all of their many sports and activities. She was a gentle soul who had a sweet sensitivity to others. In essence, she was a pillar of commitment, resilience and hard work. We will honor her and her amazing life by following her steadfastness resolution, and genuine love for the many people in her life.

Camille is survived by her children: Ken Bradshaw, and Jan (John) Higley; In-laws: Peggy Bradshaw and Von (Virginia) Whitby; 18 adoring grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren, all who Grandma had a special, individualized relationship with. She leaves behind many friends, neighbors, and many "bonus grandkids" from her neighborhood, whom she always had a popsicle for.

She is proceeded in death by her sweet husband, Ross, her mother and father, many brothers and sisters, her daughter Shauna Whitby, her son Bob Bradshaw, and 2 great-grandchildren Braxton and Brooklyn Camille.

As her family, we want to express our overwhelming love and gratitude for all the healthcare workers at The Legacy House in Farmington. Not only did you go above and beyond for our mom and grandma, but you became our family. Thank you for truly loving her, she loved you dearly in return. Your kindness, delicacy and love shown to our Mom and Grandma will never be forgotten.

A Viewing will be held Sunday, June 6th from 6-8pm, at Russon Brother's Mortuary. (295 North Main Street - Bountiful, UT)

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 7th, 11: 00am, at the North Canyon 5th Ward, (2505 South Davis Blvd - Bountiful, UT) with a viewing at the same location from 9:30-10:30am.

Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Cemetery (3401 S. Highland Drive in Millcreek, UT.)
