Marjorie Erkkila Obituary

"Grandma Marge"
1935 ~ 2016
Marge passed away peacefully on February 17, 2016. She was born on August 15, 1935 to Louis and Mary Vasas. She was the youngest of four. Her brother Louis and sisters Mary and Barbara preceded her in death. She married Reino Erkkila April 21, 1956. He preceded her in death in 1992, a loss she never fully recovered from. They had two sons, Ray (Robyn) and Dale (Debbie). Six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Marge was an Air Force wife and lived in Florida, Arizona and Germany before settling in Utah after Reino's retirement. She retired from working for the State of Utah and spent her final years in the warmth of Mesquite Nevada.
Graveside services will be held February 27, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Dedication of the grave by Jeff Pulver.
A celebration of life will be held at The Ridge Golf Course following the services.

Ray and Dale,
I had a dream about your mom last night and felt like doing a search to see if she was still living. I loved your mom and dad. They were great people. You have my condolences for the passing of your mom. I hope you two are doing well.
