Michael Shriver Obituary
Michael David Shriver passed away peacefully at home on February 26, 2018 at the age of 28. He was born on May 10, 1989 in Murray, Utah to Kimberly Burr and Thor Shriver. Michael was the life of the party. He made friends wherever he went. He lived life on his own terms. He loved music and taught himself to play the guitar at a very young age. He not only played the guitar, but he also wrote his own music. Michael was a thinker. He always had a business plan or new philosophy and could talk about it for hours. He was a gifted comedian and made everyone laugh. There was never a dull moment. Most of all Michael loved being a Dad. He is now reunited with his baby girl Kira Lynn whom he missed dearly. He is survived by his beautiful son "Mister" Jaxxson of whom he adored, his Mother Kim (Russ "Rusty") Burr, Father Thor Shriver, Dad Shane (Marla) Fellows, siblings Shawn, Kelsey (Andrew) Zeeh, Whitney, and Nate, niece Gracelyn, Grandparents David & Shanna Limberg, Pat Shriver, Dennis & Kathy Fellows, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and so many dear friends. Michael is preceded in death by his daughter Kira Lynn, Grandpa William Shriver, Great Grandparents Ralph & Marcia Tucker, and Erma Limberg. A special thank you to Chad and Jodi for their love and support with both Michael and Jaxxson. In lieu of flowers a fund has been setup at America First Credit Union under "Forever Shriver" to help support his son Jaxxson.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 5, 2018 at the Crescent Cemetery, 11105 S. State Street, Sandy, Utah. A wake will take place from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Anderson & Goff Mortuary, 11859 South 700 East, Draper, Utah.

Oh Michael my heart is in pieces. I only got to know you for a short time and it was the best! Thank you for letting me be apart of Jaxxsons life you were the best daddy ever! I was looking forward to Memorial Day camping with you and Jackie boy! Rest In Peace sweet boy! ❤

A million and one memories with you. So many talks about life and the future. So many moments I took for granted. I never in a million years thought you would be gone this soon. You were always making people laugh or cooking a hundred pounds of salmon you brought back from Alaska and wanted to share with all your friends. So many plans and dreams. It doesn't seem real that I will never hear your laugh or see your face again. He always told us he would haunt us if he passed before us! Gone toon soon, Shriver you will be missed. You were such a fun, funny, genuine guy and life threw you some curveballs. Im glad that we had rekindled our friendship over the last few years but sad we didnt hang out more. "Lets get together sometime" is now gone forever and that really sucks.
