Sad to hear of her passing. I'm 57 years old and she was my 4th grade teacher at Vista Elementary School. I remember her coming to my home for dinner, something she did with her students. We went to the park nearby the school with a handcart and made soap from lye and ash, and dressed in pioneer clothing. She was a truly joyous, caring, loving person with great ways to communicate with her students. I will always remember her and her zest for life.

Ms.R- I was in your 5th/6th combo class your first year at MC Perry in Iwakuni Japan and fortunate enough to have you for 5th & 6th grade. This was back in the early 80's! Your bonus point system and teaching your students how to work & earn while making it fun was probably so ahead of its time. You even came to visit us (after we left Japan) at our next duty station at Groton! I've looked you up over the year but never knew how to get a hold of you and tell you Thank you for being such a wonderful teacher. You actually made learning fun for a kid who disliked school. I'm so sad that I didn't get the chance to tell you personally. I hope you knew though how much of an impact you made in so many children's lives. God Speed Ms.R Rest in Love- Rosie B.

Pat Rosenbury helped me prepare for graduate school back in 2013. The course work in her Brainlinking, Inc. program was outstanding, and I worked hard to master skills I either never learned or had lost over the years. Pat knew how to challenge, motivate and support me with encouragement and kindness. I enjoyed graduate school and did well! Thank you, Pat, you are a dear friend!

"Miss R." directly and significantly influenced the lives of probably thousands of pupils over the years but also indirectly improved the lives of tens of thousands of others who benefitted from the increased capabilities (intellectual, professional, and social) of those she taught. I am eternally grateful that my then 10 year old mind meshed so well with her unique and malleable teaching methodology, her sometimes comical energy, and her amazing dedication. For many years I have been aware that my life would have been diminished absent her teaching at Vista Elementary School now over 40 years ago. She will be missed and remembered for a very long time.

We will be forever grateful for Ms. Pat. She was brilliant and knew how to help children. She changed my son's life. I was grateful to know her. Thank you for caring, Ms. Pat.
