Geertsen Family,
I remember coming to your house as a young girl and feeling so welcome and loved. I loved Mr. Geertsen as my 5th grade teacher. He was an excellent teacher and I will also remember it as my favorite class. I also loved his sweet daughter, Nancy. Thanks for being my friend. Please know that the "Hicken family" are thinking of you all and are so sorry for your loss. Love from, Kristine Hicken (Hansen)

To the Geertsen Family,
Jeff and I are sorry to hear of Paul's passing, but at the same time so grateful, as we know you are, for the knowledge we have of our loving Father's plan of salvation. May our Father's choicest blessings be with all of you at this time, and know our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Our best to the family,
Jeff and Janet Labrum Family
P.S. Please make sure Jerry and Patty know we would love to hear from them. We feel so far away, but do love it here.

I wish to offer my condolences and sympathies to the Paul Geertsen Family at the temporary loss of there patriarch. As a nephew I have fond memories in my earlier years of spending one week a summer out to Paul & Loises house where they would include me in there family activities for that week. Uncle Paul has now been released from his worn out body where is free to move at will and can enjoy the association of loved ones who have passed on previously.

Sister Geertsen and family,
I so admired Brother Geertsen. He was a wonderful example of dedication and love. He taught me a lot about service to others. I was aa great experience serving with him as Home Teachers. May God bless and comfort you.
