Ralph was born Jan. 11, 1918 to Fred and Susanah Morris in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was the fifth child of six: Florence, Wayne, Robert (Bob), Dorothy and Barbara. He was preceeded in death by his father, mother and all of his brothers and sisters. Ralph is survived by his beloved wife, June and his four children and their spouces, Craig and Christi; Brent and Marsha; Rosalie and Jim Wheeler and MeriKay and Blair McDonald, and also 24 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
Ralph served his country in the Army during World War II. He was stationed in Europe and was honorably released in April of 1946.
He was a good provider for his family and worked hard all his life. He founded Intermountain Leather and Findings Company in 1948, which he ran for over 50 years.
Ralph fell in love with and married June Shelley on Nov. 16, 1949 in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they lovingly raised four children.
He was an active and faithful member of the LDS church and served in many church callings.
Ralph was a very kind, upbeat person and was loved by his family and many friends.
He died peacefully in his home Oct 16, 2011 and will be missed by all that knew him.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, Oct. 19th, 11:00 a.m. at the LDS 33rd Ward Chapel (453 South 1100 East, Salt Lake City, UT.) There will be a viewing held Tuesday, Oct. 18th, 7:00 till 8:30 p.m. and again Wednesday, Oct. 19th at the 33rd ward. Burial will be in the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery (3401 S. Highland Drive) following services.
