Dear John and Jan: We remember your children when we lived in Michigan and while we have kept in touch with the Clayton's from a distance we have not followed the children. What a lovely picture of Rebecca. We think in our mind of the talents and abilities she must have had and can now use. Like you, we are grateful for the Lord's plan for all his children and know we can be together again as families. Our love to you. Roger and Jackie Campbell

The thing I remember most about Becky was how amazingly unselfish and loving she was. She would always go out of her way to help a friend no matter what. That is probably why I fell in love with her. The time we shared together was the happiest time in my life. She will be deeply missed. My love and prayers go out to her and the Clayton family.

To the Clayton Family:

You don’t know me and I didn’t know Rebecca, although I am a teacher and volunteer for NAMI Utah. I was saddened to read of Rebecca’s death. I looked at her picture and thought, “What a beautiful girl.”

I’m very sensitive to those who have been lost and I sincerely give you my heartfelt condolences.

My daughter is the same age as yours and struggles with mental illness and has spent time with a kind worker from Nami. They have given her Hope and helped her with lifes problems so she can spend more time with her 5 year old daughter. My Love and prayers go to your Family at this time. To Becky’s family: Beyond her mortal pain and confusion I could always sense the sweetness of her eternal soul. If we’re here on earth to gather experience and taste the bitter, I know that Rebecca accomplished her mortal mission. She always reminded me of a gentle, beautiful butterfly struggling to break through. Because of the gift of the Atonement she can now find joy and peace. I hope to be able to talk with her when my time comes and I get there. My prayers and thoughts are with you all. May you find peace and comfort in your sure knowledge of the Atonement.
