Richard Allred Obituary

Richard Kendall
Allred
Inventive - Witty
Our loving Husband, Dad, and Son, Richard Kendall Allred, age 32, passed peacefully from this earth into the loving arms of his Savior on September 24, 2016. He will be remembered by all as a creative, witty, hardworking, fun-loving man who truly loved his family and lived life to the fullest. We have all been so blessed to have known him.
Richard was sealed in the Jordan River Temple to Tashina Marie Matern, daughter of Richard and Carla Matern, on October 7, 2006. Together they brought three beautiful children into this world - Tanner Richard Allred (7), Reed Kendall Allred (5) and Rawlee Voe Allred (3). He was a kind and loving husband and father, taking exceptional care of his family. His children adored and idolized their Dad as their protector, best friend, and inventor of their dreams. He taught them that they can do anything they dream, and become anyone they choose to be.
Richard was born on December 8, 1983 to Ken and Cheryl Allred. Richard, we love you and will always hold a special place in our hearts for you. He was a wonderful big brother to Craig (Corinne) Allred and Eric (Karen) Allred, teaching them many of life's important lessons.
Richard is an Eagle Scout and served an LDS mission to the Philippines. He attended Riverton High School and received a Master's Degree in Psychology, with honors, from the University of Phoenix. Richard owned a very successful vocational rehabilitation business - Reliant Services. He was a very compassionate person who, from a very young age, showed love and concern for others, which carried into his business and personal life.
He has been greeted on the other side by his grandmother, Anona Stewart Allred, his grandfather, Richard Leon Oakford, and Tashina's grandmother, Shirley Jane Matern.
To help keep Richard's memory alive for his family, especially his children, we would appreciate it if you would please send your memories and fun times with Richard to: [email protected]
Funeral and viewing services will be held Saturday, October 1, 2016 at the Aurora Vista Ward Chapel at 14868 South Juniper Crest Road, Herriman, UT 84096, with a viewing from at 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m, funeral following at 1:30. Interment at Herriman Cemetery. Online condolences: www.larkincares.com

Omg. I'm in shock, I didn't know that Rich died. I'm so so sad to hear of his passing. When I worked for the state of Utah, Rich's personable skills and the way he ran his company blew all others out of the water. It was a pleasure working with Rich and even after I moved to Texas I tried getting him to expand his business here! Please know that I'm praying for you (his family) and wish this hadn't happened

I knew Rich from his Vocational Rehab Services. He was such a kind and friendly guy to be around. I appreciated his friendly and supportive attitude toward the clients too. Rich will be missed by all who knew him in the Vocational Rehab community.

My heartfelt condolences for those Rich left behind. He was an innovator, mentor, friend and colleague whose heart was with our shared clients. I respected and admired him and his crazy sense of humor - not to mention his taste in music! He will be deeply missed.

Rich, you were an amazing man. The company you started has been a Godsend for our family. When you came to our house to present yourself and your business, my wife and I knew that you would help our son. Thank you for your kindness, leadership, and for being nothing short of a miracle for us. You will be missed.

"What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch. We may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget"
