Roberta Read Obituary
Roberta Read was born January 13, 1925 in Burley, Idaho, and passed away December 12, 2014 in Murray, UT. Her parents were Robert Locke Read and Cora Lucile Hammond Read. She grew up in SLC, UT and lived many of her adult years in Sherman Oaks, CA. She was very well-read in matters of scripture, LDS doctrine, enjoyed history, literature and classical music.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 7 siblings: Ilene Vanderwerff, LeIsle Dobbs, Naomi Pierce, Clytie Wilkinson, Robert Read, George Read and Don Read; and is dearly loved by her nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held Friday, Dec 19, 2014, 1-1:45 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 S. Redwood Road. Interment to follow at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 So. Redwood Road.
