Norma and Family:

It is with great regret that we learned of Ron's passing. Having worked with him and Adam in Church service and living in the same stake together, Kathryn and I have grown to appreciate his fine qualities and friendly demeanor.

May Heavenly Father bless you all with sweet and heart-warming memories of Ron and buoy you up during those difficult hours when you most feel the temporary separation.

Our love and sincere regards,

Rich and Kathryn Nielson

I grew up with Ron in Ukiah California, we both lived on Standley Street. Not only were we good friends, but we shared a lot of mutual friends. It was a wonderful time and place. We went to the movies and basketball games together. I remmember working around his yard and helping him with some of his chores. Every once in a while his father would make a deal with us to wash his Buick Convertable, (might of been a 1953 ?). It was maroon and beautiful. Afterwards he'd let Ron and I take it for a drive around the west side of Ukiah. We were so cool, if you touched us, your fingers would have froze! As things would have it, we moved away and apart, but not really. I saw him years latter, in 1994, at our family home in Ukiah, after my mother had passed away. We spoke for a short time, and he explained to me, that it was partially because of the relationship that we had during our teenage years that he latter was influenced to investigate the Church.

Norma and family,
My heart broke when I heard the news. Even after moving from the neighborhood, Ron would always make an effort to come and say hi everytime we were visiting. I having so many good memories growing up with Sarrah and getting to spend time around all of you while Norma and Ron chased after us! I miss you all! Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers!

I found this poem and thought of all of you.
*God saw you were getting tired and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you and whispered, "Come to Me". With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. It broke our hearts to loose you, but he only takes the best!

All of our love,

I knew Ron in Ukiah during my school years. We grew up on the same street. We shared an apartment in SLC in 1971. He has cheated death many times as his health problems would have filled a Doctor's Book. He would just laughed them off. He was a genuine worrier in word and deed. My mother discribed him as a truly Angelic and Elect Spirit. I as well as the rest of the Clark family will miss him but count our selves fortunate to have known him as a friend and brother. Dear Sister Hunt: I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. The thing I remember most about Brother Hunt is that he was always upbeat and had a lovely deep, booming voice. He was also a good friend to my dad, Hank, and I appreciate that. My condolences and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

My heart was broken at the loss of Ron. His door-greeting persona at the Eddie P. Mayne Kearns Senior Center was always filled with joy, humor and kindness. He was kind, and caring to everyone. I will miss him dearly!

Dearest Norma, Thad, Susan, Adam and Joel... I am deeply saddened at the loss of our friend and neighbor. Ron has been a part of so many of our lives growing up on Early Duke and I have so many fond memories of him. I know he is with our Heavenly Father and Sarrah and that he is free from the sufferings he has faced in this life.. Knowing that gives me peace and comfort yet just the thought of not seeing him when I am checking the mail and getting a BIG HELLO from him breaks my heart... I will always remember him for the love and acts of kindess he shared with myself and my children all these years... My thoughts and prayers are with you all and Norma if ever you need ANYTHING, please do not hesitiate to call on us!
All our love!

My name is Eileen Pryor. I know Ron from the Harman Senior Recreation Center. I want to add my thanks for knowing Ron. He was in my Choir "Noteable Angels" and the "Klown A-Rounds" for a short time. During the time that I have known Ron I have been impressed with his gentle, loving ways. He cared a bunch for others and wanted serve them. His Klown name was Happy. It really fit. No one else in our group has taken his name, it is his. We will miss Ron. May the Lord give you comfort at this time, and in the days to come.

Dear Norma and Family,
Ron has gone on to better things and an easier life, but he will be sorely missed by his family and friends. He was the first member of the ward we met when we moved here from Vernal, and he was a good, good friend. He will not be forgotten. Please accept our sympathy and love,
