1947 ~ 2021

My journey has ended. In a way, I am relieved. I had a great run, to be honest. I was lucky to get added time thanks to the IHC Transplant Center. Thanks to my wonderful wife and best friend Becky, for all the great years we spent together. I will miss you, my love.

I was preceded in death by my father Ted and mother Ina. My dad was truly one of the great guys in life. I was fortunate to have two wonderful children; Ronnie and Amy and stepdaughter Carly. Becky and I were blessed with five delightful grandchildren; Jada (Grant), Addie, Dane, Julian, and Vivienne. I was also blessed with my daughter-in-law Nikki, sons-in-law Troy and Casey. All upstanding people and I enjoyed all of you. I have one brother Ted (Claudia) and sister Pam (Eric), as well as Becky's brother Randy and partner Amy.

I want to thank all the people at the IHC Heart Transplant Center for allowing me 18 more years of life. I would like to thank Dr. Rami Alharethi for everything over and above that you did for me, plus being a good friend. I also want to thank Elder Dale Renlund (retired cardiologist), who was nothing but fantastic while treating me. I would like to thank Sally Brush, Kismet Rasmussen and Stacey Frampton for all your help with my journey. There will be a private graveside service.

Dave and Ron shared their love of cars throughout the years to their hearts content. Perhaps, they're having a cocktail and still talking T-Birds. Love to you during this most heartbreaking time.

I will always cherish the memory of Ron Johnson, who reminded me of the legacy of so many dedicated leaders of the Mack Trucks organization through the years. It was truly an honour to be associated with a true professional and a caring human being. he will be missed.

It is with deepest sympathy that I say good bye to my best buddy since 7th grade. I met Ron in middle school playing flag football. I think the day we met he forgot it was flag and I was unfortunately the ball carrier, Needless to say Dog planted me in the turf. We had a long friendship. We kind of lost touch and about 13 years ago we hooked up through email and text messaging. I enjoyed him and his sense of humor. I was truly blessed to know this fine man. My heart as broken as it is goes out to his family and especially his wonderful soulmate Becky. God bless you all and you're in my thoughts and prayers.

I write this with deep sadness, Ron we affectionately called "Bulldog", because of his prowess on the gridiron, was a friend and teammate from age fifteen. He was a wonderful friend, with a great sense of humor, very loyal to his friends & very smart. I have so many memories of our high school and college years both on the gridiron and off. He was to me, as they say, "one of kind", I shall let him live on with all the memories I carry in my heart and mind. God Bless you my friend, forever RIP, God Bless Becky & the family!
