1948-2019
Steve Owen Staples of Riverton, Utah, passed away on January 18, 2019 surrounded by his devoted wife, Diane, children and grandchildren. He fought a long, and heroic battle with renal cell carcinoma for five years. Steve grew up in Kanosh, Utah before enlisting in the Air Force and later moving to Riverton. Steve is survived by his wife Diane, children Chad (Emily), Kami Conrad (Eric), Dari', Trent (Jaime), Amanda Dipo (Tim) and mother Lorraine Staples. Steve is preceded in death by his son, Garrett, brother Gordon Staples, and father Alton C. Staples.
A viewing will be held January 27th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Broomhead Funeral Home located 2200 West 12590 South Riverton, Utah. We are grateful to his doctors and their staff for many years of care of service. In lieu of flowers, please pay a good deed forward. www.bromheadfuneralhome.com

We were so sorry to hear about Steve. We did not have the pleasure of knowing him for a long time but we have shared our son with Kami and her family. Steve was so easy to get to know and we loved his sense of humor. He was a wonderful loving father and husband and was greatly loved. He will always be missed but the memories he left his dear family and friends will always bring them joy and comfort until they meet again.
