Stewart Robison Obituary

Stewart Robison1952 ~2004  Stewart suffered a massive heart attack and was taken from us on December 12, 2004. He was born Sept. 4th 1952 in Ely, Nevada, the youngest of seven children born to Earl B. Robison and Ardath Hudson Robison. Stewart lived his early years in Ely and moved to Salt Lake City in 1964 subsequent to an accident which rendered him a paraplegic. He graduated from Highland High and attended class at the U of U. He worked at Cummins Intermountain for 20 years.  He was preceded in death by his father Earl and older brother Chad. He is survived by his mother Ardath, whom he adored, brothers Thomas E. (Peggy), Robert B. (Gayle), Ward J. (Sharon) and Wallace D. (Penny) and "big" sister Dr. Pamela Awana, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his beloved niece Kaleo to whom he was and always will be a "father". His strength, endurance, humor and true grit will live on forever just as will his photographs of nature and the animals he loved and honored. Stewart will have a showing of his photos at the art gallery Visitors Center at Antelope Island in the fall of 2005; his photos are currently on display and available presently at the gift shop on the Island. He did not need to walk…because he soared. Run with the animals, fly with the eagles, sweet Stew. You are now free. Informal Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, December 15, 2004 at 2:30 p.m. at Mt. Vista United Methodist Church, 8931 South 3200 West, West Jordan, Utah. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Farmington Bay Nature Education Center, 515 East 5300 South, Ogden, Utah 84405

Stewart,

How grateful I am to have had the privilege of knowing you. You freely shared your laughter, your heart and soul with all those around you. Your humor lifted people up, your heart made everyone care more and your soul claimed a forever place in each life you touched. Thank you for touching my life. I will always be better for having seen the world through your camera lens.

I miss you, my friend.

I enjoyed may association with stew over the years we worked together at cummins. And the daily razzing that we gave each other. You will be missed.

Goodbye Dear Stewert,

May you rest in peace. Few men have been loved as deeply as you,....but you already knew that. You had Judith's heart from the day you met.

I will miss hearing of you and the fun things you and Judy shared. May you find great joy in this, your new journey. Walk slow, that we might someday catch up.......

Dearest Stewart and his family. I was so sorry to hear about his passing. I worked with Stewart at Cummins and really enjoyed my time with him. He was a dear friend to me and his pictures of nature were so lovely to look at. He will be greatly missed as a dear friend to all who knew him. Rest in peace dear Stewart.
