Dear Dunn Family,
I just recently heard about Bill's passing, and, wanted to reach out to express my support and love to your family. Thank you for allowing us to spend these last few years - getting to know Norma and Bill at Atria Sandy. Truly, they were some of the most remarkable people I have ever known - as is your family. Thank you for all of your love and support to them, too. I knew Bill, longer...and, what an incredible, vibrant leader he was - for our Residents and for our Community! I have learned so much from all of you - and, I will be eternally grateful that our lives have touched. Thank you, sincerely, Robyn Childs/Atria Senior Living

I hold great love and respect for Bill and Norma Dunn. They extended extraordinary love and kindness to me and my family. I was blessed to work for Bill when he was mayor of Murray and observed firsthand what a gifted individual he was in dealing with people and challenging situations. As neighbors on Saunders Street, we rode to Sunday School with Dunns and Hebertsons, thus nurturing our activity in a gospel way of life. My life has been blessed immeasurably by those sensitive and simple acts of kindness. Our family holds the Dunn family in high esteem. May you be blessed with comfort as you honor a remarkable and gifted man! Love to you all! Julie Mechling Sagendorf

Dunn family. I am sorry for your loss. He was ready to go and he is back with Norma and I'm sure they'll find a sports game to watch. Bill was a fine man, and we've shared fun time over the past thirty years. I'm so glad he was such a great father (in-law) to my sister and know how much that has meant to her. We will miss you Bill - heaven has gained an angel.

Dear Craig, Debbie, Lori and Brian,

All I can say is that my brother expressed the very feelings and remembrances that I was having all weekend. I will always cherish those special memories of Uncle Bill and I can hear it as if it was just yesterday when he would say "Marly how are you doing!"

I feel truly blessed to have had your dad as a very influential part of my life and will always be grateful that our parents became friends and then family.

Best Looking man in Murray, Utah! What a sweet guy.

Your dad was always very sweet to me as he interacted with me in Murray. He and my Dad, Wayne W. Ottley, were fellow Jaycees and my parents could never say enough kind things about this man. Sympathy to the family as there is never a good time to loose someone so dear. We hope you are comforted by his life and love for you. Linda Ottley Rich

Dear Dunn Family:

I was saddened to read of Bill's passing. My memories go back many years to when he was an active Jaycee, then Mayor, then County Commissioner and then director for Utah's Department of Commerce. I was associated with him through all those years and always found him to be a friend I could trust, believe and count on. His memory is among some of my fondest.

I knew Bill my whole life I used to call him Uncle Bill, I was crushed when I found out he wasn't my real uncle. My family did many activities with the Dunns, memories I'll never forget. Bill always had a smile on his face and good things to say. Bill and Norma were my mom and dads best friends they shared the best of times back in the good old days of downtown Murray. I always looked up to Bill he was a strong man of integrity, he was one of the good ones. I send my condolences to Craig, Debbie, Lori, Brian, and the rest of the family. I'm sorry I won't be there for the services my work takes me out of state but know in my heart that I'll be thinking of you all. God bless, Richard Hendricks

He was Uncle Bill to us. He was always cheerful and a big tease. He loved cookies and never failed to convince our daughter Heidi to make cookies for him when he came to visit. We love him and will miss him greatly.
